Crown Market status

This page shows when each address was last tested by hand. The status here is the date and time of the check, not a real-time ping monitor. The recorded moment is when the link was confirmed open and functional.

All three addresses lead to the same shop. Copy one, paste it into Tor Browser, and compare it with the address printed in the login captcha before you type a password.

How the check works

Checks happen manually using a standard Tor Browser installation. Two things get verified: whether the page loads without errors, and whether the captcha text matches the address bar. These checks run at irregular intervals, usually after operator announcements and at least once a week.

There is no automated script polling the servers constantly. A bot can report that a page loads, but it cannot confirm the page is the right one, and on a network where clones are cheap, that distinction is the whole job.

If everything looks down

If all addresses appear offline, several factors could be at play. A large scale attack might overwhelm all current paths simultaneously. The operators may be in the middle of a rotation where old links are being decommissioned. Your local Tor node configuration could also cause routing issues that look like downtime.

To troubleshoot, try switching your Tor exit node. Wait a few minutes for network conditions to stabilize. Then cross-reference with official announcements from the market operators. If they confirm maintenance or rotation, the outage is expected and temporary.

Frequently asked

Manually, at least once a week and after every operator announcement. The last check date is printed on this page.

Not necessarily. It might just be one route failing under traffic pressure. The other mirrors usually keep working.

Use the contact page. The list gets updated after confirmation against the operator announcement.
